oooh nice Chinatown reference.

Yeah, I suppose I get less auto DMs than I used to. Still, it kind of makes it
all the more annoying... I forget and move on. But not before I block. >:-)

-Christine Cavalier

Stuff like this changed how I approach Twitter. Gone are the days of mass follows of "people who like people and who would probably like me." I'm culling my list and keeping it much more personal at this point. An auto DM is a sure way to raise your hand and identify yourself as someone we don't need to follow anyway, so I thank them in my own way. It takes time to engage with people on Twitter! This is less casual than it once was. So if the other party is spamming you, it's OK to quickly move on. Hurt feelings are fleeting. "Forget it, Jake, it's Chinatown. Or Twitter. Either one."

WOOHOOO! I absolutely HATE it when people do that. That is EXACTLY what I do. Spamming me- REALLY pisses me off. It just goes to show that the person doing it has ZERO twitter etiquette!!

I know, right? I was trying to help him out at first, showing him that he won't get much help from people with that approach, but then he just trolled me. Oh well, no good deed goes unpunished!

Maybe You should have reported him as spam with Twitter as payback for what he did to You. For what it's worth, You did the right thing. What he did was rude with capital characters. If You want someone to respond to You You should do the decent thing, make contact, first!! Asking by dm can only be done if there is an sort of relationship in my opinion. Thank You for alerting the Twitter peeps to this caracter. If only more people would take the time to talk about the day to day irritations of todays world. We all could help eachother fighting against a-holes like this douchebag.

Oh, and I added one last tweet before I blocked the guy, telling him that he's an asshole. I truly don't know if he realizes that. It's my pleasure to provide him with this much-needed information.
